How come nobody mentioned guys wearing platform shoes and blown-dried "feathered" hair? Who the hell told them that looked good?
You mean to say blown dried feathered hair is out of style? Oh Oh, I gotta go see my stylist.

Easy there; you're stomping on my history. I had feathered hair and used a blow dryer....and I freakin' rocked it!

lol....seems so. I was born in '61 and I remember almost all of this stuff...even owned a ton of it. Despite TT's weird thought process, this is an entertaining thread for me....just ignoring TT's odd ramblings!

Born in '64 and just a few days ago bought a GE clock radio that must be from the 70's or early 80's at any rate. It has that fake wood finish and green tone for digital lights.
Built like a tank. Excellent quality sound. And is likely highly collectible by now. For the $6 bux I spent on it in the thrift store, it beats any of the $20 plus peices of junk in any electronic department today. And will likely out last them.

Hahaha! I'm a '63 vintage. Just so happens my house radio that I'm listening to as I type, I got when I was 12 or 13. A Sears Electronics stereo clock radio, cheezy plastic wood finish.
The clock and alarm quite working @30 yrs. ago. Radio is still perfect, well, as long as you don't try to do anything stupid, like, change the channel, volume or balance.
My Mom threw it away, I saved it, my wife threw it away, I saved it, my kidlet tossed it, I saved it.
