Sue the Interior Health Authority re wait times

Now that Manitobans can sue their health authority over wait times, how long do we keep putting up with wait times that exceed the first ministers maximum wait times as set out in 2004. Vernon for example has some horrific wait times. Any one interested in joining in a class action, to get our wait times in order?

In 2004, first ministers signed the 10-Year Plan to Strengthen Health Care,
committing to a meaningful reduction of wait times through strategic investments in 5 priority
clinical areas: cancer, heart, diagnostic imaging, joint replacement and sight restoration.

The solution to fixing an broken and underfunded systems is NOT draining more money from said system via the courts....

A law suit will get their attention like nothing else.

A lawsuit would mean it gets tied up in court for years and they can't publicly talk about wait times because of ongoing litigation.

Best way to speed up the wait times is to free up budget funds to have all operating rooms being used, one place to do that.
Would be to remove all unnecessary Administrators in all of the health authorities, each are very top heavy.

Yeup.... Chop the top 30%. Get rid of the "health care " workers who's job it is to spend cash on buying up residential properties and "institutionalizing " them just to hold them for "future development" ..

If people actually knew how many houses around KGH that IHA owns and what they spend on them , they'd puke.

I think the jist of this thread is SURGERY wait times.
