Defacing currency: does it matter?
http://www.torontosun.com/2015/03/03/st ... ing-5-bill
So the big bad Bank of Canada wants Canadians to earn nothing on their investments and yet somehow maintain some sense of decorum towards the five dollar bill. Presumably under the guise of sense of kinship and respect for Leonard Nimoy, our dearly departed Sci-Fi super hero, aka Spock.
PLEASE stop Spocking five dollar bills!
Okay Bank of Canada, as soon as investments actually earn something.

The defaced currency is destroyed once it hits a bank. It would be a bit of a hassle if the Mint had to continually print $5 bills to replace ones that were defaced.
When someone says they pay taxes, you know they're about to be an ******e.

I remember this from high school.
This is a nice one...
...but mine will have a slightly different hand gesture - dedicated to the banks, the tax-man ....and lawyers.
