Hate to take this thread to a dark place again but while the Clopper thing is bazaar they're harmless, it does however demonstrates how someone can be conditioned to think almost anything is erotic with no pre-wiring required. So to think people are 'wired' to be a pedophile is a misguided notion that underscores how dangerous child porn is because it creates new pedophiles.

Another way to look at this and I eluded to it earlier, "thighing" is still a thing in some Muslim cultures because the Prophet Muhammad practiced it on his 6 year old Child-Bride, Aisha. It's disturbing and I'm sorry if some are repulsed by me bringing it up but the implication to thinking pedophiles are wired differently is to say some Mulsim men are wired differently which of course would be inaccurate.

Pedophilia is a result of learned conditioning and is why child porn of any kind is so dangerous and a scourge on society.

If they really wanted to help, they'd turn over all the information to the police and leave it at that.

Confronting people doesn't really stop them, especially if they just pack up and move neighborhoods or towns and continue to engage in illegal behavior

It's no fun lynching women.

That's why women spend 63% less time in jail than a man does when they are convicted of the exact same crime and have the exact same criminal record.

In this case, they completely escape enforcement/entrapment due to their gender.

It's also interesting that Creep Catchers doesn't try to entrap older females looking to show younger males a good time because ...hey...we all know the boy is lucky, right? Most of their target audience would be cheering the women/boys on.

This group exists on public sentiment of anger and revenge and if they caught a single mom with kids that was looking to sleep with a 14 year old they would end up "taking a mom away from a family" or whatever and the revenge rush would be over and everyone would feel bad for the single mom. There is no public appetite to publicly shame women this way otherwise they would have been doing it by now - and that says a lot about our society.

All hypothetical. Why not start a creep catchers for women predators? Instead of just complaining that someone else isn't doing it? People expect someone else to do it when they won't step up for the job themselves. Or at least notify the police about all these women who are abusing young boys, which is the other suggestion that people had for the creep catchers, that is tell police rather than doing the creep catcher thing. i know if some woman was sexually assaulting one of my sons, I would hope someone would notify police (or creep catchers).

As far as jail time, there are mandatory minimum sentences for child sexual assault charges, so no excuses for mothers being taken away from their family. If she's convicted, jail sentences are mandated.
