If you compare that picture to the picture in the previous post, I find the first picture works better because it looks like he's committed himself to the whole look, scruffy beard and the style of glasses, etc. - makes me believe he's more identifiable with the look and not just the trend (does that make sense?). Where as in the second picture, the guy looks like he's just wearing it because its a trend and wants the attention - just doesn't work IMHO.

That second picture, its just like a mullet without an IROC ;)

My delicate sensibilities have been offended!
Half naked bearded man bunned men being openly 'objectified'.
Be still your salivating twitterpaited hearts and get :topic: ...lol

A few of my Lady Friends who regularly sport Lady Buns say they usually do so
on Bad Hair days and theirs are always carefully combed and styled neatly.
One of them commented, when asked about man buns (in comparision to their Lady buns), that Man Buns often look like unwashed rats nests that are full of lice and fleas.

Viking are in the past.
Let's be real.

Kaitlyns are now.
That's real.

This has nothing to do with vikings or the celebration of them.
This is a statement by men who want to advocate for...

I dunno, Kaitlyn?
What else are they advocating for?
Homeless hairstyles?
Hairstyles of the pathetic and lazy?
Is this about "minimal personal hygiene"?

Reminds me of an old Kodak line.
"Quick! Grab the handle!"

Let's hear from a bun-wearing man.
Any hair-knob sporting guys wanna chime in?

WARNING!!!
Hipster top-knots are making men BALD:
'Man buns' place extreme tension on hair roots, triggering permanent hair loss

~Scraping hair into a top-knot can cause a condition called traction alopecia
Causes bald patches appear - usually around the forehead and temples
If the roots are pulled at over a long period of time, they become damaged
Hair will eventually cease to grow, leading to permanent baldness

From the same article

However, the good news is that traction alopecia is relatively rare, even for men who regularly sport man buns.
Dr Sullivan said: 'There are lots of men who wear man buns and don't get traction alopecia. The idea is not to pull so tight. You don't want to have to go for hair transplants later.'

I've worn a lady bun for years and years with no ill effects. People say baseball caps will make you go bald too, so there's that.
