We rarely get trick or treaters since we live on a dead end road. We've had 5 tonight which is great, I wish we had more.

Our last 2 trick or treaters were about 15 years old. My 20 year old daughter gave them candy and reminded me that it was far better to have 15 year olds trick or treating than the alternative on Halloween night. She has a point.

We still have the light on.

^^It's sad living on a dead end street at Halloween.

Our road used to be a through street and we got 30-50 kids. Last year we had zero. So I'm pretty happy about the 5 we got tonight!

Of course, I still buy treats for 50 kids...

I'm going to have a little chit chat tomorrow with the dentists that live down the street.
They were dropping fistfuls of candy into the kids bags.
The real nasty kind to that melts into the molars and remains there for 3 days.

Might return half the candy to their doorstep with a note that says "Nice Try".

156........a record for us in North Glenmore off of Union. Since 2010 we have averaged about 130. Yes we do count every year to judge for next year.
