I thought that video was deleted never to get posted. Dang it. But One Crown Royal would have me passed out under the tree. So cancel that drink. No that'd be me on my true fav liquor, Smirnoffs, pear and mango flavours. Oh and a crisp White wine. Hmmm, Kaluha too, in coffee drinks. I like Screwdrivers, can't think of why I gave those up.

Some shopping got done, no need to park at Joeys or Hoang Gia, I got a spot no problem. Scooped up goodies from all the free sample tables, almost don't even need dinner.

Ho Ho Ho, :smt111 Got some presents to wrap.

I think someone has had a breakthrough :up:

I figure by the gracefulness of the falling into the tree, it has to be someone else.

It's the snow. Give me snow at Christmas, always. I'm never in the Christmas spirit if it's brown and green. Need the white stuff.

I don't know, brown and green are the colours of $100s & $20s. That would make for a good xmas.

I don't know what to say Atomoa, other than there is more right about that meme than most of us care to admit.

Does it belong here to kill the fun vibe? I preferred it when GB had me spinning out control as totally drunk and hitting a tree.

So okay, back to slaying Christmas.

Let's Ruin Christmas by Turning It into an Economics Lesson

http://www.vice.com/en_ca/read/how-chri ... -economics

<snip>

But it goes beyond poor gifts. Because Christmas concentrates all this shopping in a single month of the year, it creates a huge amount of slack and spare capacity in the economy. Retailers, warehouses, and transportation businesses have to have the capacity to deal with the Christmas rush—capacity (in the form of mail trucks, say, or shelf space) that isn't needed the rest of the year. If we could all (somehow) collectively decide to spend all that money more evenly throughout the year, the economy wouldn't have to build all that spare capacity, which in turn would mean we'd be using our resources more efficiently, which means we'd all be richer, because the economy would have more resources per unit of time spent to obtain them.

It can be both. Let's ruin Christmas by pointing out the pressure people feel to over spend.

And know what, this white stuff actually puts me in a Christmas mood. Or mode. Or whatever it is that snow does to me.
