I’m going with that.

And this expresses my sentiment, opening and all.

But I don’t expect I’ll get a ‘hero’s funeral.’

Okay, so you fooled us all.
Good for you.
You did a disappearing act as Pat-Taporter when you didn't get a "correct" response in a thread about facebook.
And all these other names.
IMO, you enjoy not gathering moss. Not having "friends and enemies" here and there in these threads. Unless you PM everyone you know and announce that you're now using a new name. That is not unheard of.

Good luck. You'll be back. It's been sorta interesting with you under f/22.

If I did what you do, I wonder what name I'd come back as: I've considered PinkPrincess but figure no one would take me seriously.

I took a much needed forum break a while ago that lasted about 2ish years. I used to love getting right in there with a good debate. Now, I just don't have the inclination or desire to. I look at so many posts and I can only smh. There are a lot of 'right' fighters on these boards. I no longer care if people agree or disagree with me. When I post the odd time, I give my opinion and that's good enough. Because of my newer way of going about the discussions, it makes it more tolerable. I find though that it's always the same topics getting discussed over and over again which I find completely boring so I just don't bother.

There are times I look in here and scroll through the new posts list and just exit stage left!
