Re: The Stonecutter
When I was a pre-teen to teen my Pap actually "hired" me, and a friend for pay.
to dig out the root cellar under the family home to turn it into a full basement.
My several year older cousin as the supervisor and lead structure dude.
Picking and shoveling dirt into 5 gallon pails and haul them up the steps to a trailer.
This all before and after my usual list of chores,
It was brutal!
Some of the toughest and most hated positions I have ever held have helped me the most on
my working journey to the modest successes I have achieved.

"Don't 'p' down my neck then tell me it's raining!"
