If the article writer had any sense of objectivity at all, he would have included the facts that this child changes separately and is soon going to be undergoing hormone therapy and eventually sex-reassignment surgery.

A few gay men (or even straight men) who want to win at all costs know that the Williams sisters aren't any better than an average college male, will jump at the opportunity to win for the ladies. Men are like that. If the guy wants to compete as a chick, he (she?) should transition first so he doesn't have an unfair advantage.

The "guy" in the article you posted is 15 (a child), most likely has no job, is still in high school, and I'm sure has no way whatsoever to pay for surgery at the present time. If you actually bothered to look up other articles about the topic - you know, instead of the smear-job one you posted - you'd see that she's planning hormone therapy in June (so I guess this month) and then sex surgery at a later date when I assume she actually has the resources.

If you actually want to discuss "bad apples" ruining sports for people, can you please find an article that supports this view in an objective way? Because all you've done is post an article that trashes the LGBTQ community by tearing down a child, no less.

There are a mere handful of these sensationalist stories of transgender people playing in supposedly the wrong sport. Know why? Because there aren't that many transgendered people in the world. This isn't some big epidemic and from the few articles I've seen the athletes actually seem to be sincere and have plans to have sexual reassignment surgery or have already undergone or started the process.

If that was really the message, you would have just said so. There's another agenda here besides just sticking up for female athletes. It's pointing out how icky and creepy and wrong transgender persons are. Neither you or I are too dumb to read between the lines and see that.

Whatever floats your boat, but if you have an advantage because you are taking steroids or have an actual male body physically speaking (testosterone and the whole nine yards), you are competing with an unfair advantage. Even if you are a transsexual that truly identify as a woman, scientifically speaking, you're not actually a women in the physical sense.

Then you'll be glad to know that in the Olympics and NCAA, trans-women athletes have to have testosterone levels comparable to or below those of cisgender women. This requirement is slowly becoming a norm everywhere:
