The way the article reads, it's one of those 'freeman on the land' types of arguments where the dude has been told by a non-lawyer that our legal system is actually "contract law" . They think they can somehow opt out because it's a contract that they didn't sign or if they use some secret phrase in court like, "do you have a claim against me" then the court has to revert to some other set of laws.

Or, it's just a convenient ploy if you were caught trying to bring handguns into the country and have no other defense.

So he wants the courts to prove hes a Canadian citizen.....wonder how much money the Canadian government has paid him in his life? This guy is a waste of skin....and give first nations people a bad image.

Must have got the name thing sorted out - anything to delay (that was back in February I think). Also read he tried to arrest the judge back in April.
