Was the investigation into the allegation that he made inappropriate comments, or sexually harassed somebody? There's a difference you know.

From what I understand there isn’t a difference, now.

Use some common sense. Yes, there obviously is a difference.

So exposing yourself is OK some of the time? It's OK for power, money, control, attention?
Just maybe this Hollywood thing needs to really take a look at itself. It seems the name of the game in Hollywood is to, tease, sexually expose, flirt yourself to the top?
Well OK.

This "flavor of the month" will run its course for a while............then you will hear nothing because gold diggers are going to hop on this bandwagon and turn it into a circus. Oh please, let's have a little something called "due process" before slinging a presumption of guilt around.

Personally I am alarmed by this trend of allegations hitting men all over N. America. Some of which are decades old. There is an entire thread all ready started too on this topic.

Truthfully allegations are coming out so rapidly it's difficult to keep up.

Doctors, sports coaches, and now union bosses too.

Haggis is accused sexual misconduct by 4 women (so far, it is early days).Chances that 4 women are lying? Chances that there are others as well that will come out in investigation?

Ballerinas, dancers, movie stars, Cirque de Soleil, and skaters have been wearing cover up leotards for many many years. Now people get their knickers in a knot over some starlets, lol. Hollywood is all about the art of illusion and entertainment. Are we really going to tell women (or men) they can't wear a leotard.Yes, it absolutely is OK for attention or any other reason. Why not? It's her body.
Here's a hint: If you are a prude, don't attend the Cannes film festival, or Cirque de Soleil Zumanity, or other semi-nude adult entertainment events.

from the article(vagina cleavage by the sun.co.uk): "However, it turns out that the famous stunner was secretly wearing a high-waisted leotard underneath."

How about gymnasts? Nasser's rep/lawyer is now publicly doubting the accounts of young girls who alleged they were molested by him. Should gymnasts be wearing burkas so they don't excite too many perverts?

So we go from discussing full on nudity in Hollywood to ballerina's?
No one ever started talking about young girls dancing.
So its OK to show yourself off naked in a movie, to make money and have it broadcast world wide, but to expose yourself in private is wrong? Now, feminist, remember, no where is it said here that assault or rape is OK.
Too funny, instead of just saying, its OK for women to expose themselves to anyone they want for money, power etc , but if anyone ever exposing themselves to the very same people then its a crime.
And worse, and very worse, is trying to escape ownership and acknowledgement by shaming and talking about ballerina's etc.

Holy crap, planet earth we are completely doomed....

Silverstarqueen, are you saying its "OK for women to venture to Hollywood, in search of fame, money and power by using their bodies, nudity, sex, flirting, exploiting themselves for visual attention, etc, etc? Casting couch's, exposing every part of their bodies for attention? Using a person for only their personnel gain?" simple Yes or No.
See, there seems to be 2 topics within this forum, One is about sex assaults in Hollywood and the other is women sexing the hell out of Hollywood to get want they want.
No one once said sex assault is OK, but a few feminist's cannot comment on the other. Why?
See, Myself and most others do not have a problem with women offering that up in Hollywood for the world to see, But sure is hard to hear one ever acknowledge that they are doing it, and that its OK?

The current topic was about "exposure", in the literal sense.
So is it Okay for a woman to expose parts of her body, for fashion, attention, movie making, to sun bathe at a nude beach, to attend an adult function like the Cannes film festival, for a performance like Cirque de soleil? Sure, why not?
Is it okay for someone to expose a woman without her consent? No, it is not. IF the picture was taken privately with her consent, and then broadcast publicly without her consent, No that is wrong.

The article I refered to (posted by zoo, quoted by me), also stated that a woman was wearing a leotard under her revealing dress, so then it is not nudity, but simply a very tight fashion accessory. Similar to the leotard of ballerinas, or other performers which might appear nude. These types of coverups are also used in a lot of nude scenes in movies, so then there is no actual nude exposure. Not that there is a problem if there is, in an adult entertainment or movie.

So what is wrong with male or female nudity for fun or profit? or dressing to expose skin? Nothing.
What is wrong with forcing a woman (or man) to be filmed or viewed nude without her consent. Everything.
And it is wrong to make a woman or man perform sexual favors privately against her will, in order to have a chance at making a living in making a movie, or to receive gymnastic training, dance instruction or work.

Does that clarify it for you?
