Millenials can't donate because so much is taken away from them they can't donate. What a stupid title. oh forgot. it's a norm with Castanet.

I can't quite agree with you. Many belong to 100 Men or 100 Women and they all donate money because they can't "afford" to donate their time. Any spare time, is for their family because the rest of the time they are working long hard hours to support their families.

Please don't lump all Millennials together.

If there is anyone who can't afford to donate it's the seniors who worked hard all their lives. They paid half their salary in taxes and now when they were promised it should be "retirement time" they can't afford to retire.

Bite your tongue, McBreezie!

The Feds shower a bounty of wealth upon the retirees. Just imagine how they must stuff their mattresses with that extra $24 per annum on OAS largesse.

Terrorists swoon with envy.

Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

I had a septic system with insufficient capacity.
I had a waterwell with an archaic pump.
No proper insulation.
No double glazed windows.
Insufficient power to run an electric stove and clothes dryer.
Today there are few if any examples of this form of housing so
we are comparing two very different things.
We are in an age of inexpensive consumer goods now, it was not like that in 1980.
Yes, my wife stayed home with the kids but she also worked her tail off by
gardening, canning and making the clothes our kids wore. It was not easy street I can tell you.
There also were not the jobs for women at that time that there are today so working outside the home was not easy with 4 kids in school, the jobs just were not available.

Have you seen some of the dumps in Rutland going for over $500K? They may be on sewer and water from the city but they certainly aren't great to move right in.

Compared to my house which was built in 1936 your condo would have been up to date in 1980.
Did you ever have to deal with galvanized iron water pipes?
How about sawdust in the walls for insulation?
Electrical that was so old the rubber insulation fell off the wires leaving them bare.
Waste not

Millennials will mature.

And when they do, party over for Boomers.

The young lady in that comedy skit is too young to actually be a millennial. The youngest ones are in their late 20's now.
When someone says they pay taxes, you know they're about to be an ******e.
