West Kelowna city hall has $40 million in its contingency fund and need directions in what to do with it. Well lets start, with the mess along side of the Hwy thru West Kelowna. I thought we lived in a beautiful place until I noticed how bad the garbage is along the side of the hwy. I personally have taken the time to pick up this garbage and deposit it at the front desk of Westbank First Nation Council. When I asked to see some one in charge there and inquired about the garbage along side of the highway I was informed that they have 2 people that pick up the said garbage along side of the hwy. Just 2 people in all of West Kelowna for that job of keeping our city clean. I was totally disappointed in their answer and left the bag of garbage there to see if they knew how to dispose of it.

The highway is Provincial territory. Argo Road maintenance does have crews that go out and pick litter. It’s an ongoing issue. How about people not being complete pigs and quit littering.
