Yesterday after dark I had reason to go to King George end-of-the-line Skytrain in Surrey (GVRD). I was shocked to see two obvious drug dealers working from cars and bicycles. There was no neighbourhood watch type group sending them on their way. Actually I have no issue with cannabis, alcohol, tobacco, prostitution, pornography, gambling etc as long as it is done like any other business. In an open marketplace so by normal people. But the people who were doing this commerce were obviously criminals in the ethical sense of the word - their manner, dress, behaviour, everything screamed 'we are psychopaths working with organized criminal groups. Don't challenge us or you will regret it.' I blame the government for criminalizing vice instead of accepting it as part of society. To be watched carefully but not suppressed.

I'd like to be the first to congratulate you on taking that leap from out of your cave!

Are hard drugs an issue in Kelowna and Penticton? I don't think so.
From what I've been told they are easy to find.
