Economics of Sex and Love?? *bleep*

Post by Nedroj »

I cant believe there is actually a course called "Economics of Sex and Love" furthermore I cant fathom who would even take such a course. No wonder kids are getting huge debts from schooling with little to no real life skills gained from it and suddenly find themselves still unemployable with 50K in student loans. I always knew getting bachelors in arts was a complete waste of time and money but this really takes the cake. But I guess it all comes down to the parents pushing their kids to go to university, and the kid taking the easiest courses available rather than actually get into something that will pay well, like a trade. Trades pay very well, career opportunities are everywhere and in today's age the stigma of certain industries comprising of only males are vanishing quickly. So any teenagers wondering what they want to do when they become an adult, do some research on what's in demand and what the average salary is and you'll save yourself (and your parents) a lot of stress later on. Get a trade, if anything its something solid to fall back should your dream of being a expert in the economics of sex and love fails.

It's been taught since 2008 so why the outrage now?

The class was an immediate hit with students and, by the time the first term started, had generated international media attention.

Yeah of course its a hit with the super left leaning people and the lazy students that took it. Its a course on sex and love how could anyone fail this? And Im not "outraged" Im actually laughing at the absurdity of it and feel bad for the students (parents) that wasted their time and money on a completely useless course. Just like all the other lefty BS classes like gender studies.

Please enlighten me on how this course will help a kid get a job to support themselves and a family as an adult? I know guys my age that spent 100,000$ and got a masters in arts, then realized after job hunting for a few years after graduating that it was completely useless and they should have gone into trades like I did. Its an easy way out and we all know how lazy the younger generation is when it comes to doing actual work.

There are a lot of courses that don't necessarily lead to a job in that field. Learning about economics in a fun way seems to have been a hit and not just with the students if the media attention is anything to go by.

Sexbots Help Marriage?

Post by PaytonL »

This article is so one sided. What about women? Will there be one for a female? Women (especially as they age-mature) enjoy sex just as much or more as men. I am sure there are a lot of women out there in their 40-50 etc would enjoy this concept just as much as men.
