If it's a peaceful protest lets leave it that way.

Personally, as a vegetarian I would like to also see a Vegi-Fest as in only vegetarian and vegan food.
Showing how tasty and balanced meals can be without meat.

I would even want the meat suppliers at the entrance offering their literature, and even a BBQ tent, giving people a choice.

Probably take only an 8' X 8' tarp for a roof and a 3' X 5' folding table to serve the long line of customers.

Peaceful protest? Interesting. Why is there even a need for a protest?

So it may not be a bad idea after all.

If someone could point me in the right direction I would love to meet and discuss the possibility with them.

They are right. Promoting violence is wrong. I suppose this topic will stay up as long as castanet agrees with the destruction of Earths Biosphere in favor of a little bbq sauce. They are protesting to bring awareness of the damage we as a species are doing to the planet. It is really quite simple.

BBQ sauce is made with veggies.

Beer and fries are vegetarian. That's about as much support as you are going to get from me.

Good luck.

I might go too, but not if they charged me to sample it.

Whatever would bring in a crowd would be fun to host. A vegan event might see 20% of what ribfest gets, so about 2,500. Not bad numbers! Worth a shot.

There are already vegan choices at "Rib Fest". I wonder how they do in the way of sales.

In addition to a variety of rib meals, there are food trucks with gluten and vegan friendly options to help accommodate all types of diets.

Not really the same as a vegan fest,
Pretty much the reason why I would want a BBQ and the meat producers to have something set up at the entrance.
It's all about choices.

Personally I take this thread as a bit of tongue in cheek, as in I doubt that the OP is encouraging violence.
However it gives me an idea for Vegi-Fest ( and even Rib Fest )
How about a Water Balloon Fight, for charity.
Red Balloons for the meat eaters, and green for the veggies
