I imagine you agree with me that we all have a right to free speech.
Which is what I consider this protest as.

[icon_lol2.gif] Come Stuphoto … all in fun. Eat what the hell you want … but please get honest for cripes sake. Your free speech is tell those of us with free speech that what we eat is wrong and what you eat is right! Plain and simple! The only reason this group is there is to PROTEST non vegans. No other reason!! And do not tell me it is about information. I had two people from a certain religion stop me on the street try and tell me about their religion and I ran very very fast. Same thing here. You are trying to force something on people who don't want anything to do with being a vegan. Get real! Get honest!

Ask someone from Colombia what a vegetarian is, and they will say Supper.

I welcome anyone to share some more vegetarian jokes. I would like to learn more.
Keep them clean though.

So how was the Rib Fest?
Good, Bad?
The weather?
Peaceful protest or nutjobs?

I was out of town, or I would have swung on by

I stopped by on Saturday afternoon since I was in the area (I didn't go specifically for Ribfest)... I'd never been before. After hearing all the hype over the event, I have to say it was underwhelming.

There wasn't enough seating in the all ages section, but plenty of spots in the beer garden/concert area.

The ribs I had were good but not amazing, the brisket and pulled pork were average.

If they really want it to be judged like a contest, a sampler platter of all four vendors would have been great. The lines were long and I wasn't about to line up four times to try each vendor.

I barely even noticed the protestors. They were respectful and weren't making a scene at all.
