They're relying on donated scholarship money to the tune of $160 Million dollars. They're simply acting as a intermediary between donors and receivers. They're not doing this to help students, they're doing it to boost enrollment and boost profits. The fact that it'll help some students is just an added benefit.

RIght on.

MIT has been offering free online courses for a couple of years and you can get a qualifying certificate for a small fee. Lots of options to choose from and still at the extremely high standard MIT upholds.
