Whether it be 100 percent complete or not one can admire the quality of the work as designed by the district's staff, and look forward to the continuation via the next contract - currently scheduled as "at the earliest possible" by the district. One could hope that with all of the contractor's lead time, since award some many weeks ago and until climatic conditions permit in 2012, there will be an early commencement and completion prior to the heavy traffic customary there in the tourist season? Is that hoping for too much? To actually enjoy the newly upgraded stretch of Gellatly Road in summer 2012? ( About a year late, it might be noted.)
