Is West Kelowna ugly?

Just a quick question, do you think West Kelowna is ugly or not?

I don't mind the buildings,new or old they are all interesting in their own way, it would be nice to see all the dead trees from the fire a few years ago cut down. The thing I see consistently that is ugly is the lack of maintainance along the higway, the weeds get to an amazing height and it makes the whole place look like an unkempt dump.

I think some parts are...I hate seeing all the empty run down buildings on Main Street...Looks terrible, IMO..Definitely agree with the lack of highway maintenance...It'd be nice to see some buildings painted, that would make a huge difference...But other than that, I LOVE Westbank. Its home now

In a word, yes. Horribly. My major beef is the scars on the hills from insensitive development.

Probably the ugliest place in BC. Can't believe i got sucked in to moving to this over priced hole. Please nobody get offended it's just my opinion.

Hey, don't be badmouthing the dump. It is really quite lovely and has a terrific view of the lake.

If you compare West Kelowna to other city's in the Okanagan, such as Peachland or Summerland. Then yes, I believe it looks very ugly.

And the fact that most of the mountains surrounding this city are burned black from forest fires, it just adds to the overall ugly look.
