Enron, Countrywide Financial, Pets.com, Pan Am, DeLorean... all of those sucked up a lot of rich people's money and they got nothing out of it long term or any term. And there are only a few million more examples with thousands of them being developers. Tobiano, anyone? It's never too cheap to build if you can't reasonably expect to ever fill the square footage you're constructing.

Best Buy/ Future Shop closed 15 stores across Canada last Thursday. This was, obviously, one of them.
