greyhound aint what she used to be. Used to be able to get off where you wanted even in the boonies.

The bus depot has limited service now. It had a fairly good schedule a month or two ago before they starting with all the cuts.

Sad but thats what losing $14 million on BC routes happens. Whats even sadder is that we don't really have any other options other than air, your own car or Greyhound.

Just so we're clear, they're still idiots and I have zero sympathy for them. The company has been mismanaged almost into the dirt for years and they have always been difficult to deal with.

Yep, city bus from Kelowna to Westbank costs 2:50 (as opposed to $30 on greyhound) and runs every 15 mins-hour as opposed to every 2-6 hours.

Just to follow up, I took Greyhound to Vancouver and back, and in both cases the bus did stop in Westbank.

Also, I'm quite impressed with them - awesome comfy buses, plenty of legroom, awesome drivers, and free wifi and charging stations on board. Better than flying almost.
