How are the roads from kelowna to rose valley?

I have to go to Rose Valley up near the school tonight. Is the road from Westside where you turn up the really switchbacks road turning left, can't remember the name sorry, really icy or are they ok. I would be turning off of Westside Road off of the Bennett bridge.

I drove up Westlake Road about an hour ago and it was horrible. A complete ice rink. A Sanding truck did come though and put sand or dirt on the road and it only took my husband about 10 minutes to get up. If you can avoid it though, I would. I wouldn't do it again tonight.... I haves lived up here for 12 1/2 years and that was the worst drive up Westlake Road in all that time.

My wife said there were about 7 people shoveling gravel onto the road near the turtle pond before any sand trucks got into the area. Seemed to take them a while to get there.

I guess I could go up Horizon Drive as well. Not looking forward to any of them……..

My husband had to go out and went down Westlake, said it's ok now.
