Stroll down Westside Memory Lane......

Post by charliebean »

Looking for any memories (Old or New) about " The Westside".
1) Awesome summer days at Wild N Wet.
2) Going to Old Macdonalds Farm with my kindergarden class.

Your Turn....

Playing rag tag at the ferry docks just north of the bridge.
ZZ-Top at the Kokanee Bowl.
Working the grave yard shift at "Okanagan Tour Ice" plant by willow beach.
Watching as they built Wild and Wet,with baited breath.

There was "Little Beaver's" on Main Street that was a combination store and diner as I recall. I had breakfast there a couple of times. It was down a couple of blocks from the Tastee Freeze I think. And remember the Westbank Market?

Ernie's Pizza. We used to say "get the Ernie Burger with a side order of grease for dipping". Love that place.

Eating at the Golden Panda after a crazy night at the Du Port. Those poor owners,it always seemed to turn into a big brawl in there.
