Zellers building on fire

Stopped for gas at Superstore and noticed flames coming from roof of Zellers building. Any one know how bad it is/was. Didn't go any closer.

ya i saw the fire dept and police close the road but the fire or smoke was coming from one of the houses across the street. but that was about a hour and half ago... 2 hours i guess5:30-6:00

Costco would be really disappointed if the Zellers building burnt down, you know with all the plans they have made to move in there.

There was one fire truck and one RCMP cruiser parked on Old Okanagan Hwy, nothing else visible. From the gas pumps it looked like it was Zellers. We were there about 6pm

Is it just me or is this an unnecessary use of the word literally?

All I know is that they couldnt because that means people would be out of power for 8 hours in the middle of winters night. There could have bad food at the end of it because it spoiled and or people on Dialysis. Lets run after Cristie Clark and demand a reason why and then ask why they couldnt plan this fire better.
