Westside Historical Photos
Does anyone have any hidden gems of the local area from 1900-1970?

There is a good facebook site here - https://www.facebook.com/OldKelowna.
If you scroll down to the July 15 entries, they posted quite a few pics of old Westbank. Here's one captioned "The Main street of Westbank in 1910."
It's a great site for old Kelowna and area photos.

This photo is from 1971 because that was the year the Queen visited Kelowna and Penticton, and everyone in Westbank lined Main Street to watch her drive by.

That was a great link - really enjoyed it. I had no idea that the old bridge was a toll bridge lol

Re: Westside Historical Photos
Does anyone have any information on these photos? They came into the Westbank museum without any background information, so we'd love to hear from you if you've got any clues!

Do you think the last photo looks like it could be the same location as this photo? Vaseux Lake.

Does anyone know where this photo was taken? Or who would possibly be in it? Donated from the Ingram family to the Westbank Museum.
