Firecrackers in Glenrosa
Does anyone know the regulations regarding discharging fire-crackers? Someone was letting off firecrackers at 1:00 am in the morning!!! I couldn't believe it. I should have contacted the police, but it was hard to identify exactly which house or location that they were coming from... Did anyone else hear them or have any idea where about this happened. I sure hope with the hot weather arriving again today that they stop from doing this again - I would think that it is a fire hazard.

I believe it is totally illegal without a permit.

In light of the recent Smith Creek fire, I would suggest a two step solution for such people, 1) Identify them, and 2) Sterilize them.

I do believe fireworks of any kind fall within the current fire ban as well.

The police can probably make a good guess as which house it is, so please report. There is a regular (few times a year) fireworks offender in the area ...and they did start a fire in the canyon a few summers ago!! Thanks to an alert neighbourhood and the fire department, it was quickly doused. LUCKY!

Considering you posted this a month later, I'd say the OP was "over it". However, firecrackers are dangerous given the circumstances and certainly would be appropriate to identify those that are responsible. It would have been in the best interest of everyone surrounding the area.
