What's Happening on Main Street?

Post by Darlin06 »

Just got home after driving down Main Street... Noticed that Subway and 2 businesses next to it are policed taped off... Any idea what's happening?

I heard it was a grease fire in the sushi place beside Subway, which caused a power outage.

Electrical fire in utility room, not grease fire in Sushi Q.

Fire in subway. Not Sushi Q. There was a note on the door saying it was subway. The tape was around subway and ended at sushi Q.

What do you mean? The signs say completion date is July 15. I take that to mean July 2015! lol

Five+ months to redo one (very small) city block, unbelievable. I've seen major construction projects in Mexico progress quicker!

Elliott Road, from Main Street to Dobbin Road, is again open to traffic.

The section of road has been closed since February for the construction of the Westbank RapidBus transit exchange.

Construction is still ongoing along this section of Elliott Road and motorists and pedestrians are asked to obey traffic control signage as work continues.
