Ice wine night?
It was -11.2C or more at the airport but only -6C on my min/max in Lakeview Heights overnight; does anyone know if any of our wineries were able to get their ice wine grapes in last night?

Re: Ice wine night?
With last night being a tad colder than the night before, I'm sure most wineries, in our area at least, were able to jump on it on one night or the other. Castanet has just got on the story, too, I see. Good luck to them all, for the benefit of our local economy and reputation in wine circles. Always a relief that we're not somewhere towards the end of Jan. or even into Feb. with the wineries wringing their hands and wondering if/when that special cold snap will hit.
