The repairmen on our street were not BC Hydro but a privatized company. Have they cut back on employees? The secrecy about the problem is not good I feel. When I asked about what happened etc. I was told we don't know. The woman receptionist said would you rather have someone reporting on the problem or fixing the problem. In other words our one and only one employee is fixing the problem. It is too bad that they can't afford more than 1 employee.

There had just been 48 hours of bad weather and very heavy snow. BC Hydro crews were maxed out all over the province. They probably used private companies to help take the pressure and exhaustion off of their own employees.

Now that is hilarious. A "pressured and exhausted " BC Hydro employee. Hahahaha.
