Single storey, full basement with an outside entry (daylight basement is my fave), 2-3 bedrooms, 2+ bathrooms, huge efficient kitchen with lots of natural light, simple gable rooflines to save money, attached 2-car garage.

:sunshine:

Someone else's fave house floor plan?

My mom's tea tray - came all the way from England with Great Gramma. The tray lifts off to be carried and the legs can fold up. Not a super fancy piece of furniture, but special to me.

Favourite place in your home, and why?

What is your favourite childhood memory?
Dance as if no one's watching, sing as if no one's listening, and live everyday as if it were your last.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.

pouring over the scholastic book fair flyer with the folks, begging for books to feed my (lifelong) habit. The absolute joy when I was allowed more than one. This topic should have its own thread, I think.
