:coffeecanuck:

Cannoli tubes . . . husband would love that :127: I'll let you know when I'm ready to attempt it.

Those are all good reasons, plus I hear the Sally Ann over there is also worth a good browse. The Winners over there is head and shoulders above the one in town. Five Guys is a favourite, I need to get the husband over with though so he can order what he wants . . . so far "just choose for me" hasn't worked out :runforlife:

There is a wonderful clothing consignment store in the same mall as ReStore.

I plan to go over to ByLands tomorrow too. :bump:

SWITCH (Some Wear In Time Consignment Haven). Unless they've changed hours it's open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday; closed Sunday.

Dance as if no one's watching, sing as if no one's listening, and live everyday as if it were your last.

Always good to learn something new ... now you know of 2 that carry used building materials. ReStore gets materials from contractors, home building supply companies, manufacturers over-stock, and people renovating and offers it for sale at reasonable prices to others.

Went to restore today.
Picked up one of those folding plastic banquet tables for $25.00
They had a beautiful claw foot tub $775.00
Nice bunch of people there to help you.
And all for a good cause.
Might have to "de-Sanford & Son"and make some donations.

We saw that claw foot tub! Nice stuff in there. I can see the possibilities of the store working well in Kelowna as long as they call junk junk and get rid of it.

Paint, cupboards, books, rugs and on and on. We enjoyed our visit. I too shall make donations as one of my cousins was a beneficiary from the cause.

Was that clawfoot tub an older cast iron one? I have two I might want to sell.

They have lots of windows, but do they have the size you need, that would be the miracle with a place like this.

I'm looking for a garden door, and a 4 x 4 window that opens . . . think I'll have to take a trip there in the near future.

They've got doors. Just know what dimensions you need.
