Re-using
So I kinda hate having to throw stuff out, and I know recycling still takes a lot of resources to pull off... so I started coming up with re-uses for some containers of products I commonly use. I'm curious, what would-be waste do you get creative with? I know there's gotta be some fun ones out there, let's hear 'em!
Peace be with you

Well, here's my super awesome bagel storage - or what used to be a blank CDs case.

An old wooden toolbox is now a strawberry planter ...
Some salvaged wire corkscrews a couple of apples for the finches ...
An old (and very unsafe) candle holder becomes a corn cob feeder ...

Recycled pallets make a fence around the garden ... my tomato plants got tied up to the pallets as they grew,

made this a few years ago. A random chunk of steel I found in a scrap bin, some defunct welding rod bent into hoops and a bit of creative mig welding for the lettering and flutterbye.

Re: Re-using
I love the above photos! I just did up a pair of old boots for plant holders, drilled some holes in the bottom and added rocks for drainage. I hope it works cause its a super cute idea. In the thrift store the other day I was wondering how purses would hold up as gardens. How do they do as the summer progresses?
I want to try the painted tires also, but I wonder how long it takes for the pain to start coming off?
