Hops and eaten leaves

Hi! I have 4 hops plants along my back yard alley fence ......
I have a horrible problem with my hops plants being eaten up///////1
What eats them? Ear wigs, aphids, spider mites, what?
I have bought lady bugs, but they can not keep up with the sheer volume of what is eating them....
