Furnace Pilot Light Off ?
Is there any problem with turning off the pilot light on my gas furnace for the summer ? Furnace will be serviced in the fall. Is it really saving enough energy to make it worthwhile ?

Less wear/tear on the thermocouple? I turn mine off every year.
