Thanks for all your suggestions...finally went to Buckerfield's this am and got a very very sensitive trap...the girl said because small mice are so light to the touch some traps won't work
Would you believe within 5 mnutes of setting it up with chocolate and peanut butter....he was a goner......what a stressful few days.....for future reference "Victor Power Kill Mouse Traps 2 for 6.99 in a yellow background box .....well worth the money...and can reuse

Good to know. I had a mouse about a year ago that managed to avoid 3 different kinds of traps....and two cats.
Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death.

I like the RatZapper best, it's a pricey trap system however it works great. Clean, it's like emptying a small trash can.

I hate the Idea of touching the vermin, and getting my fingers in the trap I am setting. If you have a few vermin to deal with, tossing the trap with them, is a good work around.

Once had a rat, took a month to get rid of it, then every time we came home, we were sniffing to see if there was a decomposing rat smell.
We're lost but we're making good time.
