Refinishing Bathtub?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has ever had a bathtub refinished/reglazed? We looked into getting our tub replaced, but that will cost and arm and a leg.

If you have had your tub refinsihed, how did it turn out? Do you have anyone in Kelowna area you would recommend? Seems like there are quite a few companies out there.

Sorry OP can't help you on any recommendations, I have been around when it was done. The chemicals (reglazing) used are very strong smelling.

Added later: if you have kids and/or pets I suggest getting them away from the home during the process.
