Short section of railway track
Anyone know where one could buy a 12-24" piece of railway track(or a few feet)? Want a decent chunk to use as an anvil in the shop. Perhaps someone knows how to buy a piece from the contractor pulling up the tracks?
And before its mentioned I don't want to steal a length from the current operation going on.

Could check around scrap metal places i.e ABC Recycling
They may have some, since tracks are being removed between Kelowna & Vernon (if not already happened).

Thanks, found a 37" chuck at knox mountain metals, Got lucky as they only seemed to have 30' lengths and only sell full pieces. This was discarded to the side.
Not cheap... at all. But don't have to look anymore.

Compared to the price of actual anvil I'm sure its a deal.
