Redberry mites and Blackberries
My blackberries have mostly failed to ripen this year, or only ripened unevenly. When I look up the disease problems that would cause this, I come up with Redberry Mites as the culprit.
Best as I can tell lime sulfur is going to be my best bet to get rid of these critters. That and cutting out this year's fruiting canes and disposing of them.
Conflicting information on when to apply the lime sulfur. One says once in the fall, and once in the spring, and one says twice in the spring.
Anybody have experience in dealing with Redberry Mites?? Would appreciate any advice.
Thanks
