Crafty

Post by Bsuds »

My Wife is very much into Quilting and other crafts like Needle work, Knitting. etc.

My Christmas present to her was custom built shelving for her craft room. It is finally put together and she has resorted and organized to her liking.

Here is the result.

Looks good Sudsy ... Mrs S deserves to be treated like a queen.

Impressed - mine is organized but not looking as neat and tidy.

We are lucky in that a good friend owns a cabinet company and I got if for his cost and I did the install.
Sure helps when everything fits properly too.

After such a thoughful gift and all the sweat 'n tears installing it, any chance Mrs S will forget about the HDL for a couple of months?

I wish I was into quilting - I'd bug you for a visit. But having said that, I was in Peachland and they have some sort of quilting get togethers and the work there was out of this world. So my respect (was high to start with) just got higher. Lots of hard work and the end result is something to treasure - good for her and good for you to be that supportive. Messy means it's worked hard and loved. Every good woman needs her space?

She quilts with a group at the Rutland seniors center. She bought a Cricut machine and is now doing paper crafts too.
I will try to remember to post some pictures tomorrow of her latest quilts and a vase of flowers made of paper. The are on my other computer. Kind of cool.

Don't know why those are sideways, they are correct on the originals.
