Crafty things
Here are some crafty and random things that I've done! Post things that you've made, too!
Here's a hooded sweater that my friend sewed, and I stenciled the wings on the back of it:
This is a wallet that I made out of a magazine and packing tape:
A shirt I stenciled with Edward Scissorhands on it:
A hemp and shell necklace:
That's all for now! What have you made?

How about this puppy?
Nice to find a customer who is will to give you a little free rein on a project. This one is now living over the fireplace in a pub here in Penticton. It's kind of hard to make out, but the centerpiece has a relief carving of the pub's logo, the front end of an old steam locomotive.

I made this baby shower bouquet for my neice's baby shower. It's made from rolled baby socks, t-shirts, wash cloths, hats and booties.
Finally figured out how to make the pictures bigger.

I especially loved the snowflakes on the first one. What were they made of?
Thanks, worked with both ladies for years and the cakes were my wedding gift to them. Denise got married just before Christmas so I went with the winter theme she had.
I got the snowflakes from Nick at McCall's in Toronto - if I remember correctly, he said they were a spun sugar mixture. The cake itself was a dark German chocolate with rolled fondant icing.

Those are beautiful, Roo!
Here's the cake I made for my niece's birthday last year. She wouldn't let anybody touch it.
I don't know how to make the pictures big either, but they magically grow when you click on them.
Next year I'd like to do an ocean scene, stick some red jello in there along with a plastic shark.

How about this puppy? That fireplace shelf is just breath taking! I love it!
I have posted some pics from my newest hobby. I have finished 2 scrapbooks now, and am ready to start my 3rd. The first one I did was from my childhood through my kids childhood, the 2nd is my grandkids. The pictures are from the 2nd one....my grandkids (of course LOL)
I am a work in progress, hoping to improve with each one!
