Kayaking in kelowna
Where is the best place to launch a kayak in kelowna?? and is there someone out there that would be willing to give me some lessons as I am new to this sport.

Check out this site. There are many people who belong to this club that would be a good resource.
It is really easy to launch at Sutherland Park, near the mill in the North end.

Try anywhere that is not busy with motorboats. I assume Gyro is good since they rent Kayaks there. As the above poster stated, Sutherland is a good spot, tried it last summer.
And honestly, if you can, get out towards Vernon and go to Kalamalka Lake, that is a beauty spot to Kayak. Especially on a sunny day, the water is simply amazing.
