Bear in mind anything can be tolerated at some level or another, and anything can kill you at some level or another. Quantity is extremely important with things like this, and it's the factor that always seems to be left out when people panic about an ingredient in something.

But can you believe for a stinking 1% gain in profit, the big drug company and agribusiness
is trying to make everyone eat a certain level of the crap, when most of the countries
on earth banned it.
1%.

What levels are we talking about here? Have you considered the possibility that other countries have wrongly banned it?

No.
I considered that Canada, USA, Brazil, Australia and some other countries
have allowed it, even though it's not necessary, and although no one really
knows if the stuff is bad for us, no one can really guarantee that it's all that good for us,
and when farmers start adding crap to our food, and making us eat that stuff in tiny amounts,
just so they can add 1% profit, when we add everything up - fungicide in our apple juice,
hormones in our meat, pesticides on our strawberries - when we add up all those tiny amounts
of drugs and chemicals- we'll all be the losers. And the drug companies/agribusiness will be the winner.

Isn't it the point to reduce the fat and enhance the meat percentage?

it's so intelligent it boggles the mind. it's almost like cramming antibiotics down pigs, and cattle's throats, to earn
a little extra profit - then later finding out maybe we shouldn't be doing eating all those antibiotics.
think long term instead of profits short term.

In fact, drugs in the same class are currently being used in experiments to actually fight cancer in humans.

So you admit that no one knows if there are any ill effects.

just like all the other chemicals and pesticides in our food.
No one dies immediately. All the problems happen long term.
It's what we want. So they give it to us.

The same thing is put in our bodies as a cure for cancer - why would you object?

When the government places a certain 'safe' level of a poison that is allowed on our food,
it's not really safe. With Ractopamine, half the scientists believed it should not have been allowed, and most of the countries banned it. The countries with the biggest crookedest corporation farmers, like Brazil and USA are the corrupt ones who allow it. By setting a level on what is considered safe, all the are doing is saying 'BY THE TIME THIS CRAP SHOWS UP IN CANCER STAISTICS, NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO PROVE IT.'
That's how it is with all 'safe' chemicals added to our food.
Calcium propionate is not allowed in bread, in Germany because the chemical causes tumors. Has anyone ever heard of this?
If it's true, people in Canada would be nuts to buy bread with calcium propionate, just because Canada's scientists say it's good for you. It's perfectly easy to bake bread without calcium propionate. So why some companies add the crap, if it causes tumors?

I see calcium propionate.
If it's not allowed in germany but allowed here - why?
are the germans dumber? Or are we the dumb ones?

I see you don't answer questions but here's a thought for you - it's possible this is about politics.
Doesn't make sense if it is being used in order to treat cancer.

Not all chemicals will have long term health effects. Stop assuming that just because it's a chemical, and some guy somewhere believes it's harmful, that it's bad for you.
