Big White discount
Just out of curiousity, can you still purchase discount day passes for BW somewhere in town? I think it used to be at Coopers....?

The major ski resorts in this province need to look at lowering their prices.
Why? So they can all go broke and close?
$5.00 Friday night skiing dirt cheap.
A full day at Big White is $68.00 for 7 hours of skiing time in some of the best ski terrain in North America. Fresh air, fun and hanging with good friends, it doesn't get any better than that. It's what you make it. The cost works out to about $9.75 per hour. Seems pretty reasonable to me.
I think, therefore we are different.

The Coopers in Rutland sells them for 53 + tax and they are only good Mon-Friday for adults only

Big White is NEVER busy during the week. And even on weekends, the runs are not crowded, and if all the lifts are operational, it's rare to wait in line more than a few minutes.
The one caveat I would mention is that since the parking lot by the Ridge Rocket and Snow Ghost Express has closed, traffic is being directed to the parking lots at Happy Valley and the Black Forest chair.
I don't know about Happy Valley, but the Black Forest Chair is subject to significant bottlenecks in the 9-10 AM zone (especially if it's foggy on the rest of the hill) 'cause it's the only way to get up the mountain from that parking lot.
