walk around near the arena and I am sure you will see why they have to park that far away.. There are over 6000 people and probably only 2-3 people per car. That leaves 2-3000 cars that need spots never mind people going to the casino, movies, dinner, and other functions in the area. Just to put 3000 cars in perspective that is the approx amount of car stalls at orchard park that need to park somewhere.

Time for Prospera to step up for its customers then. Stacked garages on site would help a lot...excuse the pun.

What so they can charge $7 to park? Sounds like you don't like them parking by your house? Maybe when the building proposal went before the city you should have been there to express your concerns. RG properties is not going to build a multi million dollar parkade so people 3 blocks away don't complain. Sorry but it is reality.

I park farther away because it's faster to walk to your car after a game than it is to wait for the parking lot to clear out.

I've never checked to see how much it costs to park at Prospera, but if it's $7 as mentioned, then there is no way I would pay that to park for a couple hours anyway.

It is nice to arrive at a place and be able to park near a facility without the added stress of having to find parking. I think the folks that are building across from Prospera, should add extra public parking...they could get extra income they likely didn't think about.

You can't put the blame on the building owners. The city approved the arena in that area. Why should another building owner supply parking for the city? Maybe they should bulldoze some of those old houses nearby and build parking or even better leave it as it is.

I have never parked in the Prospera lots, I have never had to pay for parking when attending a game or concert and I have never stressed out about walking for 10 minutes to my parking spot. I have been called many things but cheap was never one of them

I hear ya... Lots of times I don't even being a vehicle as I know I will be drinking.
And Cabs to the Westside from Prospera are anything but cheap.
