Nope VJ had it in the bag. All he had to do was make the cut and finish the tournament.
I got Married because I was sick and tired of finishing my own sentences.
That's worked out great for me!

Impressive nonetheless that he only played 6 tourneys and finished second on the money list. Only a million behind VJ and more than a million ahead of Phil.

What do you think about Sergio losing 3 tourneys in a row with the 54 hole lead? *choke* caaaccckkk!!!

lol, no golf fans on here. So I'll off topic it to see if we can muster a conversation.

I agree that he shouldn't win "player of the year" based on his play and money earnings for a mere month or two of play. It is an award that should go to the most consistent player for the entire year.

But again, pretty impressive what he did.

Sergio, yup, choke-a-rama. A friend of mine said that he would never win a tourney or even be a consistent player because of that little "hitch" in his swing. My friend made that comment after Sergio lost to Tiger in the '99 PGA. I thought it was a dumb comment then, and I still do. How has Furyk done in recent years with an unconventional swing?

That same friend also said that Harrington would never win on the PGA tour, or a major.
