Appears to have been a good game for Kelowna 6 to 3 over Vancouver.

So this is what the rockets look like after 2011

WHL standings.png

Has anyone been going to games this season? I have gone to quite a few myself and have not been impressed. They pass when there is a wide open net, shoot when there is no open lane. It is frustrating. It looks like they are playing like they don't care. Lets hope 2012 will be better, but I would not bet on it.

Time to fire the coach. I realize junior hockey teams have good seasons and bad seasons, but since this coach has been here, they sure haven't played very well. I do know they won the division last year after an 0-11 start, but the BC division was the weakest division.

Ryan Huska has been with the team for the past 8 season (not including this season). 5 as assistant and 3 as head coach. Record as head coach is 120-78-18. Personally I think he has done a good job as a coach, but this season I have mixed feelings. I am not sure what the problem is, but the players seem to be playing with no emotion. Now as a coach is that not your job to motivate your team? Lets see what happens in the final 24 games

Unlike AHL & NHL coaches in CHL they have limited time with each player once they are 20 they have to move on.

Yes great game tonight. Prob best game I have been to all season and I have been to quite a few games. Beating the first place team in WHL and ending their 9 game win streak. Why cant the rockets play more like this every game?

The turning point for the rockets seemed to be the fight involving Goulbourne. After that, our guys seemed to match up well with the Blazers. If only some magic formula would be discovered for our guys,I wouldn't get so frustrated watching them most nights :cursor:

Knowing that Rockets are 16 points up on the next team they should make that play-off's. That said the games I've watched I can't see them get to far unless something changes with the their play big time. They are playing under 500 hockey.

Tonight win over Kamloops :nyah:
Rockets are in the post season.

Now how far Kelowna gets that's a different story.

Depending on Tri-City if they win 1 of their last 2 games or 104 points (however that happens), Kelowna will meet Portland WinterHawks in first round.

Spokane???? Rockets are in 6th place which means they will play the 3rd seed team which will either be Portland or Tri city.

They would have better luck against Chiefs. lol
