Trainer Balisongs (Butterfly Knives)

Hey.
I realize that gravity/locking switch knives are very illegal in Canada but I have recently taken up an interest in Balisongs (Butterfly Knives). Now I know that owning one of these in Canada would be a very risky idea but there are such a thing as training balisongs. They are the same as a normal balisong except they are dull and usually are impossible to sharpen. So could anyone with any expertise tell me if it would be legal for me to own a training balisong?

Yeah this is the wrong place to ask. Just call the RCMP and find out. Even if you did get an "answer" here it would be questionable at best. I remember a news story a couple years back about people getting knives confiscated which they'd purchased at the Armstrong fair. The RCMP backtracked to the source and it turns out the vendor was slightly outside some rule and didn't even know it. He'd done all the paperwork and asked all the questions and was still wrong. Heck even the info you get from the RCMP could prove inaccurate if there's any vagueness to the law, but it's your best shot.
