Personally I wouldn't go to a Pub for the music but I might for a Hockey game.
Who are the Blue Jays? Is that a new team in the NHL? (That is what we are discussing)

I agree, I could care less that they go back to playing. Unfortunately my wife will want to watch.
I might be spending more time on the Computer!

I like how Bettman had a 'sad face' when he apologized
to fans. That's what you call a crocodile sad face.
Didn't take Bettman long to start trying to get more
money out of fans by being tricky.

Not interested in the nhl this yr, playing 48 games for Lord Stanleys Cup is wrong. Junior hockey is much better and alot cheaper to go to.....go Vee's

Re: NHL lockout?
Last few of Rockets games I've been to........ I've heard people talking about NHL here is the most common error I've been hearing.
So to clear this up: Difference between a Strike & Lockout
A strike (which this was not) is based on the workers refusing to work in an effort to accomplish financial and personal gains from their employers.
A lockout (which this was) is basically the other way around. The employers refuse the workers the opportunity to work in an effort to force financial redirection and compliance.
NHL -- A lockout is caused by the owners standing together against the players, whereas a strike is the players standing together refusing to play.
Either way, both sides are trying to accomplish goals based on their own needs, and or, wants.

I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

Re: NHL lockout?
Not the right word - people like their hockey - that's what makes them "fans".

I think it's a personal choice. Have always been a hockey fan, and love the game.
I am disappointed in what happend, but will not let it affect my life.
I am sure there are other things you can watch, then.
